CLASSES & ATTIRE
Ballet: An artistic dance form characterized by grace
and precision of movement and elaborate formal technique.
Attire: Leotard, tight, skirt and pink ballet shoes.
Point: An extension of ballet for the serious advanced
dancers.
(Must receive instructors approval)
Attire: Black leotard, pink tights and point shoes
Lyrical: A contemporary style, combining ballet and jazz
techniques which express personal emotion.
Attire: Leotard, tights, jazz pants and tan slip on
jazz shoes style CG15.
Tap: Presents various rhythms made by movements of the feet.
Develops timing, rhythm and coordination.
Attire: Leotard & tights or dance top & black jazz pant.
Little girls black paten tap shoes with tap ties
Older girls Bloch lace up black leather tap shoes
Jazz: Stylized theatrical dancing based on many other forms of dance
and influenced by American Jazz music.
Attire: Dance top & black jazz pant and black lace up or slip on jazz shoes.
Hip-Hop: A funky energetic street dance style from NY and LA, with a jazz based technique
Attire: Dance top and black jazz pant. Black Dance Sneakers.
Mommy & Me Dance Classes: Introduction to ballet and tap, will teach the very young dancer
rhythm and movement while developing self-expression.
Attire: Leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes and black paten tap shoes with tap ties.
